Los Angeles Lacrosse League Non-Profit Information
The LA Lacrosse League’s mission is to help teach life lessons to school aged children throughout Southern California via lacrosse and to promote and advance amateur youth lacrosse in a safe and sportsmanlike manner while creating a culture where leaders, coaches, parents, fans, officials and players ALL honor the great game of lacrosse by demonstrating RESPECT for the rules, officials, opponents, teammates and one’s self.
LA Lacrosse wants kids to grow up playing a game of speed, position, and finesse, rather than physical intimidation. We believe that you learn by practicing and by playing. That's why every child will have the opportunity to play in every session, game or practice.
The LALL offers lacrosse in Pasadena, Culver City and Pacific Palisades/WestSide for both boys and girls from 1st through 12th grade.
Founded in 1999 as a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) open enrollment youth organization, for both State and Federal tax purposes, the Los Angeles Lacrosse League (LA Lacrosse, or LALL) relies on the membership support and volunteerism from lacrosse players, lacrosse coaches, lacrosse officials and lacrosse enthusiasts to organize and fund our youth lacrosse operations. Prior to our initiating this program in the 2000 lacrosse season, there was no opportunity for youth to openly enroll in any program offering lacrosse in all of Los Angeles County.
For field permit and insurance reasons, we REQUIRE all of our members to also be enrolled in US Lacrosse. Click on the following link to become a new member or renew your old membership in US lacrosse membership.
